The popularity and price of fancy colored diamonds continues to rise globally, driven in large part by Asian investors. In this Forbes post, Michelle Yuan reports that China and Hong Kong currently represent about 40% of sales in the fancy colored diamond market, this according to the non-profit Fancy Color Diamond Foundation (FCRF) and their new colored diamond price index.
One factor in the huge popularity seen in Asia—many Asian men will happily wear colored diamond jewelry.
